How thick are the AMB-001's end tubes, and will they fit my watch without rubbing?

 

Answer: 

3.2 mm thick. We spent a great deal of time developing our 3.2 mm thick end tubes. We even made several rounds of prototypes just to get this critical detail exactly right. Our final round of prototyping took our end tubes down that final 0.10 mm, which believe it or not, made all of the difference. 

Our end tubes are designed to sit within the lugs of nearly all modern sports watches and to never stick out over the tops of them. We believe properly fitting end tubes should sit well-framed within the lugs; nothing looks worse than end tubes jutting out over the top of a watch's lugs. 

Our end tubes are also the perfect gauge to balance out our 2.9 mm thick mesh -- there is just the right amount of curvature showing above and below where the mesh connects to the end tubes. It's an elegant result that really captures the light and showcases the attention to detail spent on even the smallest of design elements. 

 

"Will the AMB-001's 3.2 mm thick end tubes fit my watch?"  

Any watch that can accept a strap or other straight-end bracelet that is 3.2 mm at the ends, without rubbing, can accept our AMB-001 bracelet. 

Surprisingly, our end tubes fit perfectly with the short or specially shaped lugs of many watches that might seem incompatible, such as Reversos, Grand Seikos, Monacos, Blancpains, Otsuka Lotecs, Zeniths, Vacheron Constantins, and even many watches that use curved spring bars/straps.
