Why does AMB strongly suggest not to measure oneself?

 

Answer: 

It doesn't work to the degree of the accuracy needed to properly determine your wrist size. IRL, 5-6 mm or 1/4" is nothing, but that amount of difference can truly mean the difference between two sizes of our AMB-001 Milanese Mesh Bracelet. 

We do not suggest using a measuring tape at all, but if you must use a measuring tape, please make sure it is new or nearly new (old tape measures all stretch), and ask a second person to help you measure in cm or mm, without putting tension on the flesh and without leaving any slack.
