Our AMB-001 Milanese Mesh Bracelets have a hand-finished all-brushed finish. The tightly brushed finish of our AMB-001's end tubes, mesh panels, and clasp was inspired by vintage Blancpain Bathyscaphes, and Rolex and Omega divers of that era. It's a moderate-sheen finish that is never dull but also several degrees less flashy than a fully polished finish. It's a versatile finish that complements a wide range of sports watches both modern and vintage.

Our AMB-001 tones down certain watches that can feel too dressy, and gives them much appreciated sportiness and versatility. It can also elevate other watches that may benefit from the added visual complexity.

Finally, most people do not realize that creating such a fine brushed finish by hand involves steps beyond those needed to create a fully polished finish. We polish smooth our bracelets first and then go back and hand-apply the final tightly brushed finish. There is a lot of work that goes into our fully brushed AMB-001 Milanese Mesh Bracelets! 🙂
