How do I determine which size SPRING BAR TIPS I need?

 

Answer: 

We spent a lot of time and resources to develop our three AMB-SB1 spring bar tip sizes to fit essentially all modern sports watches. 

We estimate that the vast majority, perhaps 90-95%, of all modern sports watches from esteemed watchmakers like Omega, Tudor, JLC, IWC, Zenith, etc., all use 0.9 mm spring bar tips. Therefore, our default spring bar tip size is 0.9 mm. If you do not select or specify another tip size, we will ship you the default 0.9 mm spring bar tips. 

We have found far fewer watchmakers that use 0.8 mm or 1.1 mm spring bar tips. As of now, we understand modern Grand Seikos to use 0.8 mm spring bar tips. 

We created our 1.8 mm thick spring bars with 1.1 mm spring bar tips for use with Seiko Prospex divers and modern 6-digit Rolexes, such as Submariners, Pepsis, Explorers, Sea-Dwellers, et al. Older 5-digit Rolexes with drilled lugs also use our 1.1 mm spring bar tips. (5-digit Rolexes with no lug holes / drilled lugs use 0.9 mm spring bar tips.)
