Why does the AMB-001 not use "Quick Release" spring bars?

 

Answer: 

We believe that "Quick Release" spring bars are structurally less robust than simpler traditional spring bars that are made to a high standard. Quick Release spring bars will eventually fail. They are better suited for use with lighter leather or textile straps than with heavier metal bracelets. 

Incorporating Quick Release spring bars would also mean cutting further into the undersides of our AMB-001's end tubes, therefore compromising their structural integrity.

We believe in the robustness and simplicity of our 🇩🇪 German-made AMB-SB1 spring bars, fit through our solid end tubes. It's a rock-solid connection. Our AMB-001 Milanese Mesh Bracelets were designed to be as pared down and serviceable as possible. Our spring bars are made to the highest of standards. (You should feel their very positive spring rate!) 🙂
